whew. Its been a couple of days. I needed some time to get work done, and recuperate, so I just stayed home and planted in front of my computer...
The bad part was that my lower back hurts from sitting on the couch with the laptop. the good part is that I would get up, go to the gym, come home, shower, work, drink tea, work, make lunch, work, walk around, work....
you get the picture. all caught up to the point where I can go back into work and be distracted by office mates and office politics, and other stupid stress.
The other good thing is that I have been really good about what I'm eating, and my blood sugars have been consistently around 'normal' (90-110) rather then what its usually been, (140-190). I still do the ADA's recommendation on how many carbs, but I've been counting calories too, and that's made a HUGE change!
The scale is showing some improvement too! 1 hour of aerobic exercise daily plus reduced caloric intake (or in my case, an actual controlled caloric intake.)
I actually feel really great, tho I do get kinda nibbly all day -- need to find something to chew on.
Oh, yea, and I used to own this really cool can opener that uncrimped the can lid -- I left it behind with Squidboy, and last night, my old can opener broke! I need a new one, but I was thinking I'd pick up a cheapie one, but, you know, I'd love to get another one of those uncrimper ones...
(any ideas, ya'll? google isnt bringing anything up for me)
