I like to ride my bicycle...
Mar. 1st, 2010 08:06 pmThe weather was great, and I got lots of sleep and my blood sugar was great...
I did 20 miles in under 2 hours. This was _Great_ because my blood sugar was happy, and my body was happy and I was able to sprint up two hills at the very end like nothing doin'.
I'm SUPER excited about doing 25 or 30 miles next weekend.

byronium picked up his new mountain bike! We canceled our SKI TRIP for next weekend so we could go take it out. (there are a couple of non bike related reasons to cancel skiing next weekend I miss
littletranquil but that doesnt mean I'm not stupidly excited.)
I really really love this. Its different from motorcycling in so many ways, but similar in the movement, and how my body reacts to it, how my blood sugar reacts to this... makes it SO WORTH the effort. Its getting to be less effort. :)
I'm still too nervous to ride my bike to work (bicycle) - but will be working on that as the days get longer.
