I havent been to the gym in a dogs age. forever. I dont even want to go back and look how long its been. I finally hit a wall yesterday when I realized I was starting to hate myself again for being a fat lazy potatoe slug.

So I went to the gym after work.

Mainly to see if I could manage it.

Not so good, as it turns out, actually - tho I'd eaten a snack before, I had a bad blood sugar drop right after - not so bad, I'll drink chocolate milk! But I was so shakey that I managed to get chocolate milk all over my shirt, and sent a txt to the wrong place.

BUT the workout itself was awesome! I feel so much better now. I dont know if I have time tonite, but I think I'll try and go again. This weekend, going to go pick up a trainer for my mtn bike, so I can at least bicycle from home on my crazy early days. Definately going tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday as well.

In utter ridiculousness, I was playing Rock Band last night - just the bass part. I can do a lot of stuff on the bass in 'medium'. :)  Anyone play online? I tried it last weekend with [livejournal.com profile] byronium  and it was very stressful! plus some of the songs were STUPID hard. The stress part is when I play with the Array, its fine, just fun, even if we screw up. But with strangers, "oh gods, they see how awful I am!"

Today, dinner at Front Porch with some of the hot park ranger chicks, tho having JUST cancelled my credit card due to a weird couple of transactions, I'm kinda screwed unless they spot me until I can get to a bank tomorrow. (*sigh*) AND hopefully my new card shows up tomorrow, as paying bills might be a little exciting. DOH!  Fortunately a lot of places will take checks over the fone, but dang, that means CALLING people. argh!

Tomorrow, perhaps take the car to work, as its supposed to rain, and I dont have rain gear for the motorcycle (*yet*) and not certain my laptop bag is waterproof (oops).  Definately time for a new bag.

Lunch involved being kidnapped. Slight role reversal there, but still, I dont mind. :)

Good for you! The thing about working out is that when you're in the habbit it's relatively easy to keep it up. When you've fallen off the wagon you have all of the usual problems of getting back on the wagon, combined with the fact that the exercise itself is harder because you've fallen off the wagon...

(He says, as he's trying to get back up to running a decent 20 miles a week- the "recovery" from the half marathon became an excuse to not run...)
