Finally, I'm an adult, and have thrown away my old waterbed mattress, and now my lumpy old futon mattress is on its way out!

My real adult bed showed up today and I set it up. Now to find some real furniture -- side table and a clothes bureau, but I think I'll have to start taking some trips to used furniture places and see what I find. :)

I know, sort oflame, but the apartment is a mess and my bedroom even messier, so its nice to have a corner that is set up the way I want it.

the next corner? my music stand and some music! :)

What does a grownup bed look like?

Mine looks like a mattress inside a former waterbed platform.

yours looks like something out of a dungeon - hello - eyebolts in the frame.

Heh.

Oh, is *that* the part that makes it 'adult'?

So does that mean [livejournal.com profile] gayathri is getting an 'adult' bed? We really must visit, mustn't we?

hee hee! well, I found out a queen size is much smaller then a king, or its just that Pat is just a big galoot. We gotta snuggle pretty close (no complaints here!)

its a bed with springs and foam and an actual bed frame in a nice teak wood. No eyebolts, but I do have soft ties to put around the corners and having it be a queen size makes it a lot easier to tie someone up tighter.
