Last night I went to the Indian store and got a dosa with sambar for dinner, as well as three different dahls -- with some rice or rotis, this will make dinner easier the next few nights. I ate too many samosas, tho, :( the mint chutney was so good, I couldnt stop.
I was in bed and asleep by 9:30 pm. I slept really well, and cleo stuck with me most of the night. :) I actually woke up at 415 am, and cursed, because it wasnt quite enough time to fall back asleep and 4:15 wasnt really a good time to do much -- I didnt want to watch tv, or clean up my room...
So I set the alarm for a little later then 5 and fell back asleep -- woke up before the alarm went off at 5:20 and got up, went to the gym.
30 minutes, 2.7 miles
and I went upstairs and did back row (4 sets of 10 reps, 40 lbs) and lat pulldowns (4 sets of 10 reps, 45 lbs) -- not too heavy, and mostly to keep those muscles moving. My goal is to get to 3 miles in 30 minutes and keep the weights light. I did get a neat exercise from the weekend I want to try at home with the rubber bands and the balance board to work on my leg endurance in a crouch position -- I realized it would help in skiing and riding. :)
Breakfast was soy milk with soy protein powder and more water. :) I'm still feeling a little overweighted from dinner last night, so taking it easy on my tummy today. Lunch, I think I'll go to Baja Fresh or something like that and get something with some fish or chicken. I havent had any meat since Sunday night when I had beef in chile colorado for dinner. (its not a bad or good thing, but I thought I'd record it)
