Sqooshy things!
Nov. 3rd, 2008 10:59 amReading a friend's journal made me remember a few things from the weekend that made me tingle down to my toes. It was a great weekend for that.
Rain usually makes me sad. It means I can't ride, and often get cold and wet especially when its not yet cold enough for snow. But the great pacific northwest byronium loves the rain. When we were driving around on Saturday to run a few errands, he stopped me in the _pouring_ rain, put his long arms around me, and kissed me until rainwater had soaked my hair and dripped down my neck and I was breathless and all I could do was look up through raindrops on my lashes into his soft eyes and his dear face.
Maybe rain isnt so bad after all. I didnt want to get out of bed this morning. It didnt help that I had a blood sugar low last night that had pulled me out of a sound sleep into a cold, shakey, naseuous, twitchy mess, gobbling a chocolate bar and drinking gatorade without tasting either. A sleepy boy offers to get me stuff, and then holds me and gets me all warm again after I try not to throw up from being so sick to my stomach.
I'm still a little bouncy on the sugar today. Have to take it easy! No gym this morning, but we'll see how the sugar levels are after work.
