TV commercials grossing me out...
May. 20th, 2007 06:33 pmI dont know what's going on, but commercials for certain foods are completely grossing me out. Have you heard the Taco Bell ones for "Fourth Meal" -- I recall talking to ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
lil_brown_bat last week about eating habits in general and what seemed to work for me in terms of keep my blood sugars normalized -- eating a heavier lunch and a reasonable breakfast went a long way to helping so long as I didnt eat after 9 pm at night, and kept dinner pretty light.
"Breakfast like a prince, lunch like a merchant, sup like a pauper" works really well for me.
ANYWAY, back to the grossing me out commercials -- seriously, the 'Fourth Meal' one is GROSS. Even fast food places are starting to really turn my stomach, except for In and Out, and even those, I have to have dry, no sauce/dressing. What's up with that? Any fast food commercial that actually shows food is really beginning to physically make me sick.
and let's not get started on the Nutrisystem commercials -- the ones for men, where the guy sez "my wife told me that I'm not as disgusting to her as I used to be" and the women's commercial where the woman proudly states that her husband refers to her as 'his trophy wife'
Wow. People are way too mean to each other.
