Girly moment of the weekend

I was going to have brunch with some friends I hadnt seen in a while, and while looking in the mirror as I was brushing my teeth, I noticed...

my eyebrows.

I usually get them done every 2 months when I get my toes done, but it was _bad_ and outta control. And I freaked out and on my way to brunch stopped in at the spa and demanded to get my eyebrows waxed.

15 minutes of warm wax and pain later, they were good to go.

I figure freaking out about the state of your eyebrows is pretty much as girly as I'll ever get. Really girly would be going to see Anastasia to get them done. I may splurge and do just that. I miss having a really great esthetician who understood about eyebrows. These are fine, dont get me wrong, but my guy used to make them perfect.

I drove to INdia Sweets and Spices in Los Feliz and picked up a masala dosa, sambar and some rice and a couple pieces of burfi.

My stomach is closely matched by my mouth for joy right now. Just spicy enough, just enough potatoe-y goodness with green coconut masala sauce...

*sigh

Must. Do. That. More. OFten.

The aunties at the store do not like me! But the men there are nice.

 I did pick up some paneer and curry leaves to make dahl tomorrow.

mmm. i ate it all.
