bus ride for the.. well, tired.

Thank goodness for a reasonable pantry - packaged tasty bite, and frozen tandoori roti, a bottle of wine and I'm set for tonite. I took the 10 bus, which instead of 20 minutes took an hour. Traffic was nuts, tho I ended up talking the entire time with some cow-orkers, including the one that looks like Pat. :)  It was fun tho, even the crazy walk up hill. But I did it, I didnt stop more than twice, and it was more to look back at the City. Wow. the bridge, the lights. I love living here.

So basically nothing I wanted to do today got done - no gym, no nanowrimo, but all the boring things that need to get done, are.  (Bills paid, dishes done, laundry to be taken all sorted, wet mopping the floor.) Its nights like this particularly I miss having Cleo about. I thnk after Xmas its time to find out about getting a kitty here.

Tomorrow, I vote with a provisional ballot, because even tho I sent in my change of address, apparently it wasnt recorded. *sigh*

My legs are sore. Going to have to stretch out before bed.

Give yourself lots of time to do this. The polls are going to be crowded madhouses with record voter turn out. On Sunday, voting early in the city took one friend two hours, regular election day voting may be worse.

Oh, also, give the prop 8 volunteers who are going to try and be at each and every polling place (beyond the 100 foot limit) shout-outs and love. :}

I'm looking for a home for Frank by the end the of month if you'd like a little critter sooner. That would be perfect, because then when I move to SF, I can live with him again!

I probabaly couldnt take him until february, and even then have not yet checked if I can just pay an extra deposit to have a pet. (The apt lease is currently no pets)
