but I thought it was funny. I belong to a couple of "Desi" groups, and it finally occured to me to find out what it really meant. I missed being an ABCD (American Born Confused Desi) by a year, since I was actually born in India.

What is a Desi ?

I had no idea it was an indian word that meant "Of the Land" -- I thought it was like ABCD, a bunch of English words to refer to me ... well, one learns something new all the time.

Oh, yea, and I was laughing at the P-man, who's not really a monkey_boy_ per se, but monkey-man doesnt sound nearly as funny...

anyway, I was being quite the grouch last night. I refused to be cheered up. I refused to get out of my funk. I wallowed in it! I reveled in it...

and so, in a last ditch effort, P quoted from Mahabaratha, the movie, "I WISH to be discontented!!!"

gah, that man is funny. I had to crack up, 'cause of course, that was one of the main character's fatal flaws...

but then the sun came out and I was happy again. la la la!!!
