back in los angeles and i'm a big ol' whitewater leech

I made it back yesterday after too many stopovers, and I'm still extremely tired. I also did not get out of bed at 5 this morning to get my butt to the gym. The only good news is that I lost another 2 lbs from last wednesday, so even the over porkage and complete insanity of eating pizza for lunch, and TWO masala dosas for dinner, cooked by Mom (who does love me, but does not love my friends) did not seem to toss me off too much. :)

Traveling DOES screw with my blood sugar a bunch. Overnights were not good, and long flights with timezones changing was hard. I hope to get back to fasting BG's in the 90-110 range again, as I've been more like 130-150. :/

Hindu convocation disrupted in Senate

ok, its weird enough that they have these convocations, but who the HELL invited the Christian Taliban? or were these the only three at their group that no one liked?

Its amazing to me how completely and utterly _ignorant_ these so called Christians are of

1. my religion


2. their religion


3. the Constitution of the United States of America


4. and what the founding fathers really meant.

You know, since Jefferson wasnt actually a Christian and they wanted to let MA secede when they wanted to be a Puritan state, and the first veto was about giving gov't money to a religious charity and all of that...

Just to keep it straight, from MY understanding of Hinduism, we have many many aspects of the one universal truth. BTW, the convocation is another translation of the Gayatri Mantra. :) so PBBBTTTHHH to you, crazy fundies!
