Today, upped the exercise to 25 minutes, tho I broke it up: 15 min. Pre-cor, and 10 min on an upright bicycle. I managed to get 20 minutes in the 'zone', and I didnt feel like I was going to die.
YAY ME! Didnt have much time this am, 'cause I have meetings and stuff to finish before a doc's appt in the afternoon, so I spent under 40 minutes at the gym. Tomorrow is going to be another day like this, so I figured even if I only manage days like this where I get 20 min in the zone, but I do 'em every other day, I should be in good shape.
(Off to stretch some more!)
hey,
dazedperseus, I'm aiming to do this just every other day, tho I'd like to see how it goes if I manage more often. :)
I ran into a friend last night at a surprise / short notice birthday party -- he used to be pretty sedentary, and a bunch of my college friends seem to revel in that -- but last year, he began running to do a half marathon, and now he's in training for a mini-triathalon -- I was really pretty overjoyed to see 1. how GOOD he looks -- much leaner and healthier looking 2. how its changed his eating habits -- he used to be infamous for eating tons of oreos, and now he doesnt have them in his house.
I could tell how it made other folks uncomfortable, my other tri-athelete friend and he talking. That was interesting.
