Yesterday, walked to Cask at lunchtime with coworkers, and picked up two bourbons: Black Maple Hill and Hudson Valley Four Grain Bourbon - we opened the four grain at work, but I had to take it home so that others could try it. The black maple hill is a good drinking / mixing bourbon, but the four grain is amazing sipping.
Had a drink with T, who'd done a communications ethonographic study about how my company culture talks... its pretty fascinating reading. Can't wait to share it at work. She and I are going to maybe work on a project for Arse Elektronika.
Headed to Yo's for sushi and convo with the Partial Array. Communications difficulty whilst byronium is heading back from his dinner results in him offering to pick me up while I was saying I was going to call a cab - stupid noisy trains and cellphones.... but it was nice to spend time with jong and basmati and share more bourbon.
Home to fall over - B was pretty tired from all his running around as was I, and, but it wasnt meant to be. xthread had a work related change that night, and managed to miss it. B gets the fone call at 120am (my bedroom is a cell deadzone) that saying they can't find him. It takes me a while to fall back asleep, and as soon as I do, the alarm goes off for the new day. I could seriously kick xthread's ass at the moment, as I'm now exhausted, cranky and my eyes hurt from being so tired.
