Another Blah Day

It wasnt really that blah, just quiet.
Miss K had too much to do so we didnt go to the women's group meeting in costa mesa (too far for me to drive alone)
Pat and I went to eat brunch at Real Food Daily, which was a great vegan resturant -- I havent had vegan food in ages, and I enjoyed my 'burger', which was a lentil patty mixed with veggies, seitan 'bacon strips', and some sort of almond chedder cheese, as well as lettuce, avocado and a home-made ketchup.
It would have been _perfect_ if they had offered fries made of sweet potatoe. I'm now craving it! (makes note to make baked sweet potatoe fries for dinner this week.) and the home-made bread artisan bread they used for the rolls were amazing.
Good food! that always makes me happy, but I can't eat that much anymore, I could have had half of the burger and been happy -- like tonite for dinner, I had miso soup with a couple of dried mushrooms and I was FULL!! Apple for dessert, and 3 hours later, I'm still waddling around.
Miss B and her husband were going to a club tonite, but I have to be up at 6 30 am, and didnt feel much like stuffing myself into girly clothes and going out. So am home, reading "UML Explained" by Kendall Scott, and trying not to fall asleep on it. (hee hee)
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and I'm doing an orphan's dinner at miss j's place, so have to figure out what to cook...
