ohyea, here I am!
Feb. 18th, 2009 03:41 pmJury Duty is _over_!! I'm done with my civic duty for this year and likely will never have to sit on an asbestos case ever again.
Its not over tho because we got to deliberate, but more so because all parties resolved their differences and the case is closed. It was an interesting experience, but I state, I'm glad I did it, and I was amazed at how different and interesting everyone was on the panel. We're lucky in this city to have such diversity, and I'd want a panel of folks like us if _I_ ever had to be in court.
Fascinating to get to talk to the lawyers afterwards too!
Tonite, to celebrate, maybe dinner with some friends, a demo later, and sleep!
