erg.

and not as in a thermodynamic unit.

but erg. it was a tough workout day. I got to the gym ok, but neither J nor I could get our heart rates up and we were both short of breath and sweating like crazy. 45 minutes, only 3 miles. I didnt feel so great (and neither did she) the entire time -- we were a lot more thirsty then usual too. Now the temperature is going up and I think the AC in the gym wasnt running well, but still, it was sort of odd.

 That being said:

blood sugar, fasting: 90 (booyah!)
Breakfast: 1 egg, 1 egg white 1/2 cup frozen spinach mixed with some garlic powder and black pepper, scrambled. Boring boring boring. Must find something better for breakfast. I did have an entire bottle of some gatorade substitute while working out.

Still really tired driving into work. Might be time to start doing coffee or tea in the morning again. Maybe iced coffee or iced tea might be good.

I'm really really looking forward to going to Mystery School this weekend.

I think the weather is changing, low (or high? I always forget which way its supposed to go) pressure system or something - I feel like moisture is being sucked out of the air. (i.e. sinus pain, dry skin, the usual) I wonder if that might have something to do with your fatigue and sweat? Sorry you had a rough workout, but am so stoked to see that you are still going! You ROCK.

Mystery School looks fantstic! I can't wait to hear all about it.

Shitty air quality maybe?

Strong suggestion: do not fall back on caffeine in response to tiredness. They don't cure tiredness, only stimulate a tired system that wants to rest. Fight the cause, not the symptom. If you're not getting enough sleep, take a good hard look at what you're doing instead of sleeping. Surfing the net? It's a fucking useless pastime. Shut down the computer and sleep.

Tuesday nights are tough simply because I dont get home until after 9 30 pm and its hard to get my brain to shut off and fall asleep. But yea, I dont play on the internet much at night anymore and just read a little bit before going to sleep.
