sad news

I came home lastnight from my ski trip to find out that Odey crashed pretty hard over the weekend. He's in a lot of pain, etc etc...

(He's been suffering from CRF since this summer, and has needed fluids 3 to 4x a week)

I'm taking him into the vet this morning to put him to sleep.

Farewell, Odey, Odysseus the Intrepid Explorer -- I promise, it wont hurt anymore.

:( we lost M's kitty Phoenix to CRF a few years back. she was on the fluids for almost 2 years. the last day we knew it was time. i know it is hard, but it is good he will not be in pain anymore. sympathies from me and M.

Lady, I am so sorry to read this, and just disgusted that it took me four months to find it. It must have been so hard. No more pain is good, but loss is hard. Thinking good things for you.
