I didnt go...

I woke up at 0630 oh saturday, made coffee, and ate some breakfast, and headed out.

I loaded up my bags on the bike, and met sfracerx  at the start point with a bunch of other bikers ...

and when I heard 20 degrees, and snow, and passes closed, and realized the road to Bishop was going to be boring and dull, I told sfracerx  that my bad feeling about this trip had pushed me over the edge, and I was going home, my gear was barely good to get me down under 50 degrees, certainly not 20.
